The most interesting and popular topic on internet among the bloggers is, what is Google AdSense and how to earn money with it. So today I am going to explain about the concept of Google AdSense and how you can increase your earnings if you already have Google AdSense account. Let us start.
Google AdSense is a CPC (Cost Per Click) advertising program that allows bloggers or publishers to put ads on their websites or blogs. When someone clicks on these ads they will get paid.
Once you setup your account on AdSense you will be given a code to add to your blog. This code will automatically display advertisements on your blog from companies who are part of Google’s advertising network.
How to make money with Google AdSense:
For making money online you should have a website or blog. If you don’t have then I will suggest you to create a website first, rather than preferring a free blog. Choose high paying niches in which you may work for few years.
I am not saying that you have to pay 100 or 200$ to professional designers and developers for website designing. In initial stage you should invest your money in domain purchasing and shared hosting. And for remaining part you may go for free themes of Word Press or other CMS. For logo and banners you can use www.fiverr.com or other creative market places for 5$.
So now you are done with creating your own blog. So the next step is to create Google AdSense account and get approved. Click here to learn about how to create a Google AdSense account.
Adsense approval is not as such a big deal now days. All you need to do is, follow the guidelines of Google.
I have mentioned below some tips to get AdSense approval within 1month.
- Try to create a professional looking
- Check that all the pages have proper naming structure and Meta tags.
- Put fresh content on all the pages.
- Post atleast 8 to10 fresh content on your blog.
- Give proper ad spaces on website to get more attention of Google.
- Share all the posts and pages on social media platforms mainly on GooglePlus, Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter.
Follow these tips and get AdSense approval within 1 month regardless of where you reside. It may be India or Pakistan or any Asian County. Google always welcome genuine bloggers.
After getting approval you should also be aware about Google AdSense account disabled policy. Because after getting AdSense account approval some people start thinking they will start minting money from next day but the truth is you have to be consistent and genuine if you want to earn. Some bloggers who are not consistent cannot earn money and so they start following wrong methods to generate money and lose their account. Here are few basic points to avoid your AdSense account disable.
- Don’t click from your own system or ask someone to click on your ads through chats or mails.
- Don’t post contents related to pornography, hacking, cracking software, piracy etc.
- Try to put maximum 3 ads on any page.
- Always use your 100% original content.
Once you get Google AdSense approval the next important step is about- How to create ad units and what are the best sizes to get higher earnings?
For creating good quality ad unit follow these steps:
1. You need to Sign into your AdSense account:
After signing in, you will see the screen like this:
2. Go to AdSense, and click on my ads in the upper left:
- Create a new Ad unit. In the main screen area, under Content > Ad units, click the +New ad unit button.
3. Name your ad unit:
This can be any name that suits you, but many find creating a standard naming format that helps them manage large amounts of data.
For example, using[target site for the ad]_[ad size]_[ad location] or [target site for the ad]_[ad size]_[ad date] is one approach, that would look like this: www.searchenginetimes.com_336x280_Top or www.searchenginetimes.com_336x280_220316. Whatever format you decide to use for naming, make that your standard.
4. Pick a size:
See “How to Do It” below for details, but Google has found best practices that generate more clicks
5. My Preferred Pick Sizes to get higher earnings:
6. Set your ad type:
This determines the types of ad you will see on your website: text only; text and image/rich media; and image/rich media only.
7. Create a custom channel:
A custom channel lets you group ad units by size or location on a page.
You can track performance by custom channel, and turn your channel into a targetable ad placement so that advertisers can target their ads to your ad units.
8. You may change the Text Ad Style and Backup Ads according to your requirement but it is not mandatory.
9. Get the code for the ad:
When you’re done with the ad setup, either save your ad unit, or click the Save and Get code button at the bottom to get the HTML code for your site.
If adding code to your site is a hurdle for you, then click here for Google’s code implementation guide.
When someone click on your website’s ad, you will get paid by Google and the revenue can be around 68% of total amount paid by advertiser to Google through Google AdWords program.
And there is no limit regarding how much you can earn.
The amount that you can make from AdSense depends on three factors:
- The number of visitors to your website or blog
- The visibility of the ads
- The topic you are blogging about
