Direct bank transfer or Electronic Fund transfer for Google AdSense payment is a paperless work for which you don’t need to wait for long for receiving the cheque and cheque clearance time.
In this post I will explain you about how to enable EFT payment for your AdSense account.
This process will not take more than 15 minutes. Follow the steps mentioned below. You might need to call your bank customer care to get the IFSC and Swift code. Along with Direct bank deposit feature, now you can also specify the payment threshold and hold your payment for up-to one year. 1. Login to your AdSense account and Click on gear box and select payments:

3. Click on add a new form of payment:
On the next screen, you need to enter your bank account details.
(1) Account Holder Name:
You have to enter the name of account holder. But, be sure that the name and address listed on your AdSense account match with your bank account.
(2) Bank name:
Provide your bank’s full name where your AdSense earnings will be credited.
The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) is an alphanumeric code which identifies the particular branch of any bank. You may find your bank branch IFSC code in the cheque provided by your bank.
4) SWIFT-BIC Code:
Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is widely known as SWIFT code which is a unique identification code for a particular bank. The SWIFT code consists of 8 or 11 characters. The first 4 characters are bank code and next 2 characters are country code. Thereafter next 2 characters are location code and last 3 characters are for branch code.
For example: SBININBB106, BKIDINBBCCB, ICICINBB006 etc.
5) Bank Account Number:
Provide your bank account number in which you want to receive your AdSense earnings.
After entering all the above mentioned details you can now click on save payment and you are done. Now you will receive money directly into your bank account.
Below are some more details which you need to know about updated AdSense Payment policy:
- You can update your payment method until 20th of any month.
- You can now use any AdSense payment threshold greater than minimum ($100) payment.
- You can hold your payment until any specific date; maximum up to 1 year. (Though I discourage you to use this feature, as you might face issue if AdSense decide to ban your account).
So now go ahead and log into your AdSense account, and update your payment settings.
